Description

The GFCI Wire Harness is a safe and easy way to connect power to the boat lift system. This can provide ground protection for wet and marine environments. With the harness installed, you simply need to plug it in and go. It is pre-wired with a GFCI plug, so you can operate electrical power safely and efficiently near water. The harness is an easy and reliable solution for power safety at your shoreline when installing a new boat lift or upgrading an existing boat lift system.

Key Features

Built-in GFCI plug (110V): This harness has a built-in Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter plug. This will protect you from electrical shock hazards and is a must-have for all outdoor or waterfront electrical connections, especially in high-moisture environments.

Pre-wired for plug-and-play convenience: This harness is ready to install with all the significant components already connected, so you can get your harness up and running sooner and with less hassle than if you had to wire the GFCI yourself. It’s literally as simple as plugging the harness into a GFCI-rated outlet and then your lift motor.

Heavy-duty wiring with marine use: made of marine-grade and heavy-duty materials to endure the outdoor atmosphere, sunlight, and temperature changes. The wire is selected to allow your average boat lift motor to run safely.

Designed for boat lifts: Specifically designed to be wired to suit typical boat lift applications. This harness is wired for safe connection to motors, switches, or controllers with electrical protection at the source.

Flexible compatibility: Works with most boat lift systems that require 110V operation and is compatible with a variety of remotes and switch boxes, including BH-USA and other configurations.

Additional Information

Installation and use: Easy to install and use. Plug the GFCI harness into a US 110V outlet and connect the wires to your boat lift motor according to your system instructions. The outlet must always be GFCI protected to comply with safety regulations. The Safe-Lift is perfect for use in marina situations, dockside installations, and in residential waterfronts.

Maintenance and Care: Check the wire harness regularly for wear and damage, especially after severe weather. Always keep the GFCI plug dry when not in use and test it monthly, using the built-in “Test” and “Reset” buttons. Ideally, the best approach is to keep the unit indoors when not in use for extended periods to prolong the product’s life.
