It fits conventional 2×4 framing, with durable plastic bumpers that are made for heavy impact or frequent traffic/dock use. This dock bumper protects hulls from scrapes and dings when entering or leaving a dock because of its sturdy structure and energy-absorbing properties. Additional Information
Installation and Use: Use stainless screws or bolts (not included) to mount it directly to 2x4s. You can put it up either vertically or horizontally, depending on your dock’s setup and the level of protection you require. To cover the whole perimeter, use more than one unit.
Care and Maintenance: To get rid of salt and dirt buildup, rinse it off with clean water every so often. Check the fender surface and mounting hardware for any signs of wear, especially after storms or a lot of boat traffic. If the hardware needs to be replaced or tightened to make sure it is securely mounted, do so as needed.
