Description
The Pedestal, Power SPC-36-2T-350-LED, is a top-of-the-line dockside power station designed to provide dependable electrical service and brilliant lighting in one stylish, all-weather pedestal. Designed for marinas, residential docks, and commercial waterfronts, this pedestal provides the safest and most organized way to power vessels while utilizing energy-efficient and bright LED lighting for illumination and security.
Key Features
Two 30A/125V twist-lock receptacles: Equipped with two NEMA L5-30R twist-lock outlets to allow for a safe and secure connection for your boats when they are docked. Meets most shore power cords currently being used in residential and light commercial marina applications.
Built-in LED light with photocell: Energy-efficient LED lighting built in to automatically turn on at dusk and off at dawn, keeping the dock illuminated through the night for safety and visibility without the need to remember to turn it on or off.
Durable SPC housing: The pedestal body is made of Super-Polymer Composite (SPC), designed to withstand various potential damage, including UV rays, corrosion, impact, and extreme marine weather conditions. Will not crack, yellow or degrade in salt water.
Compact and efficient footprint: This pedestal is 36 inches tall and takes up an appropriate footprint for most docks, so it is not in the way or looks too big. A pedestal that is too wide is not portable and creates installation issues when the user has a situation where the utility may not be able to simply replace it with the exact pedestal.
Weatherproof and safe: All components are marine-rated and enclosed to keep moisture out, corrosion-proof fastening and watertight connections, and built to meet or exceed marine safety industry standards.
Additional Information
Installation and Use: Securely mount the pedestal to the dock surfaces with marine-grade bolts. Connect to dock power in accordance with local electrical codes or marina installations. The pedestal is designed specifically for use with watercraft, accessories or dock systems, while also providing excellent lighting to the pedestals or marine area at night.
Maintenance and handling: Occasionally, rinse the pedestal with clean water to remove any dirt and salt buildup. Routinely inspect receptacles and LED housing for signs of wear and tear. Check the state of the photocell and only replace bulbs or components with compatible marine-rated materials.
